Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SEOLark uses cookies and similar technologies on seolark.com. SEOLark is an independently owned SaaS platform operated by Shafiq Ur Rehman as a sole proprietor in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files, or similar technologies, that a website stores on or reads from your browser. They can support essential website functions such as authentication, security, remembering preferences, and general service operation.
2. Cookies We Currently Use
Based on the current implementation, SEOLark uses the following categories of cookies:
| Category | Purpose | Provider | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential session cookie | Keeps you logged in and maintains your session state, including your selected interface language, while you use the platform | SEOLark | Session duration — until logout, browser closure, or an inactivity timeout |
| Security / CSRF cookie | Helps protect forms and requests against cross-site request forgery and supports session-integrity checks | SEOLark | Session duration |
| Paddle checkout cookies | Set by Paddle during checkout for payment processing, fraud prevention, and subscription management | Paddle | For the period configured by Paddle |
We do not publish internal cookie names that are not stable or safe to disclose publicly.
3. No Analytics or Advertising Cookies Currently Used
Based on the current implementation, SEOLark does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not perform behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking. Our platform includes optional, admin-configurable support for third-party analytics and advertising integrations, but none is active in the current configuration. If we enable an analytics or advertising integration in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy before doing so.
4. Cookie Consent
SEOLark does not currently display a cookie-consent banner, and non-essential cookies are not currently blocked pending consent, because the current implementation primarily uses essential cookies required to operate the service. If we later introduce non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will implement an appropriate consent mechanism and update this policy where required.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view and delete existing cookies, block cookies from specific sites, or block all cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, account access, session continuity, security checks, or other core functions from working. We cannot guarantee control over cookies set by third-party services, such as Paddle during checkout.
6. Paddle and Third-Party Cookies
Paid subscriptions are purchased through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. When you open the Paddle checkout, Paddle may use cookies or similar technologies for payment processing, fraud prevention, subscription management, and buyer support. These are Paddle's own cookies, set and controlled under Paddle's own privacy and cookie notices — not SEOLark's. Paddle's privacy policy is available at paddle.com/legal/privacy; we do not reproduce it here.
7. Local Storage and Similar Technologies
A small number of pages use your browser's local storage — separate from cookies — to remember in-progress input or interface state on your own device, such as saving your work in a browser-based text tool or restoring a scroll position. This data stays in your browser and is used for your convenience; it is not the same as a cookie and is not automatically sent to our servers.
8. Embedded Content and External Services
We did not identify material embedded third-party content (such as maps, videos, or widgets) that sets its own cookies in the current public-facing implementation, beyond the Paddle checkout described above. Certain tools let you connect your own Google account (for example, for YouTube or Google Business Profile analysis); this uses Google's authorization process rather than setting tracking cookies on our website.
9. Do Not Track
SEOLark does not currently perform behavioural advertising and does not maintain a separate response mechanism for browser "Do Not Track" signals.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our cookie practices, providers, or applicable legal requirements change. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Nothing in this policy overrides any mandatory legal rights you may have.
