Fair Usage Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Fair usage controls help SEOLark stay reliable, secure, and reasonably available to everyone. SEOLark is an independently owned SaaS platform operated by Shafiq Ur Rehman as a sole proprietor in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Limits may differ by plan, tool, feature, processing type, account status, or resource usage. This policy applies together with our Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to guest users, registered Free users, Pro subscribers, Agency subscribers, Agency team members, and anyone else accessing SEOLark's tools, reports, uploads, queues, downloads, sharing features, or APIs where available.
2. Current Plans
SEOLark currently offers three plans: Free, Pro, and Agency. Current prices and plan details are shown on the live Pricing page — we do not duplicate prices or plan quantities in this policy.
3. How Usage Limits Work
Usage limits are tool-specific and plan-specific rather than a single number applied across the whole platform — a tool with lighter resource needs may allow more uses per day than a resource-intensive one, even on the same plan. Current limits for a given tool and plan may be shown on the Pricing page, the tool's own page, your dashboard, the usage interface, or during the relevant workflow. Different tools may also have different reset periods and quota costs.
4. Guest and Free Usage
Guest (not logged in) and Free-plan access generally have lower limits than paid plans, and some tools may require registration or a paid plan to use at all. Limits vary by tool. Repeated guest use may be measured through session and IP-based tracking, or other account and security controls; we do not describe the specific technical implementation here.
5. Paid Plan Usage
Pro and Agency generally receive higher usage allowances than Free users, but paid access is still subject to tool-specific quotas, fair-use controls, processing capacity, and your account status. A paid subscription does not provide unlimited or unrestricted use unless a specific plan or feature is explicitly described as unlimited on the Pricing page.
6. Tool-Specific Limits
Different analyzers, reports, media tools, AI-assisted tools, exports, tracking tools, and processing workflows may each have their own limits. A single tool run may consume one or more quota units. Some resource-intensive tools may have lower limits than lightweight ones. Some Pro and Agency tools also draw from a separate, shared monthly usage allowance in addition to their own daily limit — where this applies, it is reflected in the tool or your dashboard rather than listed here.
7. Quota Reset
Daily, per-tool limits reset at midnight UTC. Where a monthly allowance applies to a specific tool or feature, it resets at the start of the calendar month. Reset timing may still differ by tool — where your dashboard or a tool shows your next reset, that display is the current source of truth.
8. Reports, Exports, and Downloads
Saved reports, PDF export, and similar features are available according to your plan and the specific tool, and remain subject to the fair-usage and rate-limit controls in this policy. Generated reports and other output files may expire and be automatically removed according to tool-specific retention rules. Download or export anything you need before it expires.
9. Tracking and Monitoring Features
Some tools offer ranking, monitoring, or similar tracking functionality. Not every plan or user has access to these features, and any applicable limits are shown in the Pricing page or the relevant tool's own interface rather than fixed in this policy.
10. Uploads and Media Processing
File size, format, duration, resolution, quantity, queue, and processing limits may differ by tool. Resource-intensive jobs, such as video processing, may be placed in a queue rather than processed instantly. Temporary files and generated outputs may expire and be automatically cleaned up. Attempts to split files or repeatedly resubmit the same content to evade limits are not permitted.
11. Concurrent and Automated Usage
Excessive simultaneous requests, repeated polling, automated submissions, bots, scripts, crawlers, or browser automation may be restricted. You must not bypass queues, rate limits, quotas, credits, or concurrency controls. Normal human use and authorised platform workflows remain fully permitted — many individual actions are also protected by their own short-window rate limits, separate from your daily or monthly usage allowance.
12. Multiple Accounts and Limit Evasion
You must not create multiple accounts to bypass limits, rotate IPs, devices, emails, or sessions to evade restrictions, share an account outside the permitted use of your plan, resell or pool access, manipulate requests, identifiers, or files to avoid quota consumption, or use another person's account without permission.
13. Agency and Team Usage
Agency account owners are responsible for the team members and clients using their account. Usage may be aggregated, shared, or controlled at the account, agency, or member level depending on the feature. We do not state a fixed number of team members or clients in this policy — current allowances are shown on the Pricing page. Team members must not be used to multiply usage beyond what your plan is intended to provide.
14. Resource and Storage Abuse
The following are prohibited: excessive processing, repeated large uploads, queue flooding, storage abuse, excessive report generation, excessive public share-link creation, repeated failed jobs caused by invalid input, attempts to monopolise platform resources, and any other use that materially degrades service for other users.
15. Reasonable Use of External Services
Certain tools depend on third-party APIs or platforms. Their availability and capacity may be affected by the provider's own limits, outages, policy changes, or access restrictions outside our control. We may temporarily reduce, pause, or limit an affected feature as a result, and we do not promise uninterrupted third-party capacity.
16. No Guaranteed Unlimited Access
If the word "unlimited" is ever used elsewhere on our site, it remains subject to reasonable technical, security, abuse-prevention, storage, and service-capacity controls unless explicitly defined otherwise on that page. This policy itself does not describe any plan or feature as unlimited.
17. Monitoring and Enforcement
SEOLark may monitor aggregate and account-level usage, apply rate limits, delay or queue processing, temporarily restrict a tool, require account verification, reduce abusive request frequency, suspend or terminate accounts in serious or repeated cases, preserve evidence and investigate suspected abuse, and cooperate with Paddle, other service providers, regulators, or legal authorities where required. Not every threshold breach results in suspension — the response we take considers severity, frequency, intent, effect on other users, security risk, resource consumption, prior warnings, user cooperation, and applicable law or third-party requirements.
18. Temporary Restrictions
We may apply temporary restrictions during maintenance, unusual traffic, security incidents, third-party provider outages, abuse investigations, or capacity constraints. Such restrictions do not automatically create refund eligibility; refunds remain governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.
19. Plan Changes and Limit Changes
We may update tool limits, quota costs, reset periods, processing restrictions, or fair-use controls over time. Current limits are reflected on the Pricing page or the relevant interface where appropriate. We aim to give reasonable notice of a material reduction where required or commercially appropriate. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
20. Payments and Paddle
Paddle is currently the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions. Making a payment does not authorise abuse, quota evasion, automated extraction, reselling, or any other prohibited use of the platform. If business or technical requirements change, other payment providers may be added in the future — we do not name any provider that is not actually in use.
21. Reporting a Limit or Usage Issue
If you believe a limit is displaying or applying incorrectly, contact support@seolark.com with your account email, plan, the tool name, the date and approximate time, a screenshot, any error message, and a relevant report or job ID where available. We may request additional information, and we do not promise a fixed response or quota-adjustment timeframe.
22. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our plans, tools, infrastructure, risks, third-party provider limits, or business requirements change. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page. Nothing in this policy overrides any mandatory legal rights you may have.
